No tweaking here

First of all, thank you Keith for restoring my old posts. I know I will have to go through it one by one to reset the permission, but I don't think that's my priority now.
I know other people are busy tweaking their blogs. Mine will have to look this way, perhaps for a looooong time. I have enough on my plate as it is, and I'm just grateful to have a new blog with the same old friends around.
We're leaving for the hospital in about 30 minutes time. Aimi's next feeding is due at 10:30. She's on 4 hourly feed, 54 ml each time. When I'm at the hospital, usually only once a day, I will try to breastfeed her. Sometimes I'm successful, at other times, she just continues to sleep and has to be fed through the tube at her nose.
I'm no expert, but I have learnt quite a few medical jargons related to premature babies. Life is never boring. You always learn new things, no matter how old you are. Aimi still has some problems with her oxygen saturation level, but she can control her body temperature now.
Aimi should be pronounced the Malay and Japanese way where "Ai" rhymes with "eye". But most of the nurses call her Amy. It's not easy for them to say my name correctly either. Anyway, it does not matter that much. Amy or Aimee means beloved whilst in Japanese Ai means love, and Mi means beauty. So she is still loved, whichever way the name is pronounced.
I have to go get ready now. Later.

Yes, she is loved no matter how her name is pronounced. Keep us posted on how she's doing!

Thanks for the comments. I'm much better now. I had an infection on my caesarean wound but it's clearing now. The past few weeks had been rather overwhelming with the children starting new school and so many other things. I still have to help CB prepare for her 11+ exam. Don't want to put too much pressure on her especially since she had skipped Year 5 and gone straight to Year 6 after only 3 months of Year 4, but many people insist that we try for the Grammar Schools, so we are very busy now.

Aimi is a beautiful baby. I am so glad you are on the mend. My G did the 11+ and my son did the 13+ it is worth it if you get the Grammar school place.

Yeah Mosh. That's just a coincident. It's nice to have a Japanese name that can blend in with other languages. Being called Michiru or Akiko would be too foreign. CB refused to share any parts of her names with the baby.
OO, I usually manage a little time for myself in the morning before we leave for the hospital. I'm staying with my sister-in-law so she's in charge of the cooking most of the time. I just do very minimal food preparation. Then I can concentrate on expressing the milk and teaching the kids.
Elisla, thanks for the encouragement. We found out too late about the 11+. We didn't do anything related to it over the summer holiday and only found out when she started school in September. There are so many open schools to attend. But then as you said, grammar schools are worth trying for.
